Quick Start (First installation for New User)
For users installing DAF for the first time, it is recommended to follow this documentation which will describe how to setup a basic configuration with one text or ODBC DAF User Database and a protected directory.
It is strongly recommended to install DAF Software with the Setup Program. If the installation process does not report any error, no other installation action should be required. However, it is possible to install step by step each component used by DAF. Usually this can be useful for troubleshooting.
All binary files part of DAF software are installed under the chosen DAF Directory. No files will be copied or replaced in the NT system directory.
To uninstall DAF, run "Uninstall DAF" from menu
"Start/Programs/Dynamic Authentication Filter/"
If this item is not available or does not seem to work, you may Uninstall DAF manually.
