ID 18: Can DAF password protect two IIS Servers using a single data source?

DAF Version: 3.0,3.5,4.0

*** DAF 3.X:

For a TEXT user list:
Yes (DAF 3.5c and newer), but it requires a specific manual registry setting (See Article ID 26).

For an ODBC source:
Yes, but depending on the database system, it may require a specific setting:
- Real database servers like MS SQL Server: Yes. No specific setting.
- MS Access file located on a remote server: Yes (DAF 3.5d and newer). Specific setting needed (See Article 29)

*** DAF 4.0:

Yes, but depending on the database system, it may require a specific setting:
- Real database servers like MS SQL Server: Yes. No specific setting.
- MS Access file located on a remote server: A valid NT user on the remote server must be specified with the DAF Configuration tool, in Tab "Advanced Settings," under "Impersonate with NT User"
